Edgewater is one of the official 77 neighborhoods in the city of Chicago! Bounded by Foster Ave to the South, Devon Ave to the North, Ravenswood Ave to the West, and Lake Michigan to the East.
Edgewater contains smaller community areas within. Notably, Andersonville, Edgewater Glen, Broadway corridor, and the Sheridan/Edgewater Beach area, there are many spaces to explore.
Seamlessly mixing shopping, dining, parks, and beaches, with residential areas, there is a wealth of activities offered in Edgewater.
Andersonville is known for its eclectic shops, many varieties of restaurants, and nightlife. Also home to the Midsommarfest in June, this large festival highlights the many different stores, restaurants, and large performance stages, this is a go-to festival for Chicagoans.
Edgewater has some single-family homes mixed in with smaller garden condominium buildings to large condominium towers bordering Lake Michigan, Edgewater aims to please!
