“On the first day of Christmas, my true love gave to me…….” We all know the Christmas song, but I’m changing it up a bit. My song is called the “12 Practices of the holidays”. Even if you do not celebrate Christmas, perhaps you celebrate Hanukkah, Kwanzaa or something else, these practices will work for you. I hope you enjoy!
Day 6
The sixth practice of Christmas is—PRACTICE CREATIVITY. This can go hand in hand with the fifth practice of Christmas which was learning. Creativity is defined as the use of the imagination or original ideas, especially in the production of an artistic work. We all have the capacity to be creative. It begins in childhood, when molding clay or coloring a coloring book. When we become adults, we focus that creativity on project, home remodeling, automobile restoration, creating new recipes, or we may be one of those who gets to practice our creativity everyday in our careers. Being creative keeps us young at heart.
